Here’s what you’ll see during your 1-hour cruise:Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd)
Budapest’s most iconic bridge, opened in 1849 as the first permanent link between Buda and Pest. Its grand stone lions and elegant structure make it a symbol of unity and progress.
Buda Castle
A UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooking the Danube. Once home to Hungarian kings, today it houses the National Gallery and History Museum. Majestic by day, breathtakingly lit at night.
Hungarian Parliament Building
This neo-Gothic masterpiece is one of Europe’s grandest parliaments. Completed in 1904, it’s home to Hungary’s National Assembly and the Holy Crown. Unmissable at sunset or under night lights.
Margaret Bridge & Margaret Island
Glide under the graceful curve of Margaret Bridge and enjoy views of Margaret Island, a peaceful green oasis filled with fountains, gardens, and ruins — loved by locals and visitors alike.
Matthias Church & Fisherman’s Bastion
Perched high in the Castle District, these landmarks are the jewels of Buda. The church’s colorful roof and the Bastion’s white stone towers look like something from a fairytale.
Elizabeth Bridge (Erzsébet híd)
Named after Queen Elisabeth (“Sisi”), this sleek, white suspension bridge was rebuilt in 1964 and contrasts beautifully with Budapest’s older bridges.
Liberty Bridge (Szabadság híd)
A bright green Art Nouveau gem built in 1896. Look for the turul bird statues at the top — mythic guardians of Hungary.
Citadella & Gellért Hill
High above the river, the Citadella fortress and Liberty Statue overlook Budapest — the perfect viewpoint for panoramic photos of the city and river.
