BUDS Dinner & Cruise program

An Evening on the Danube: Hungarian Cuisine, Live Music & Illuminated Landmarks.

Boarding & Welcome

Start by making your way to Dock 3/A, located at Jane Haining rakpart, 1052 Budapest, right at Vigadó Square in the heart of the city.

Be sure to arrive 30 minutes before departure - this gives you enough time to check in, get settled, and avoid missing the boat, as we operate on a strict schedule.

Once you arrive, friendly hosts and hostesses greet you with a complimentary welcome drink.

They will also escort you to your table. White tablecloths, full table service, and a professional, always-on-board ship captain ensure every detail is in place.

You’ll be served a four-course dinner during the cruise, with table service at your seat.

You can choose from three menu options: each including an appetizer, soup, main dish, and dessert.

We also offer a children’s menu, so the whole family can enjoy a delicious, tailored dining experience on board.

Throughout the evening, Ökrös Band, a virtuoso folk orchestra will perform live music.

Ökrös Band is a Hungarian Gypsy orchestra, dedicated to preserving and promoting Hungarian and Romani folk music through passionate performances worldwide. Founded by award-winning musician Tibor Ökrös in 1997, the band has performed on prestigious stages like the Berlin Philharmonic and Sydney Opera House, enchanting audiences with authentic folk melodies and captivating cultural storytelling. They will keep you entertained all evening!

At the halfway point of the two-hour program, a true highlight awaits: a Hungarian folk dance performance by a talented couple.

This is where the evening really kicks off - and if you're feeling brave, they’ll even teach you a few traditional dance moves to join in the fun!

You’ll enjoy a smooth, scenic journey past Budapest’s most iconic landmarks.

Enjoy the uninterrupted views of the city’s illuminated skyline from the best vantage point: the Danube itself.

From Parliament to Buda Castle, and the UNESCO-protected Danube riverbanks, you"ll see the city's most iconic landmarks. As the sun sets, and the Parliament lights flick on is a show in itself. Many guests find themselves drawn to the panoramic deck - phones in hand, smiles wide, the skyline a living postcard behind them. It’s not just a good photo. It’s a memory in the making.

Let this cruise be the highlight of your trip - not just because it’s beautiful (it is), or convenient (also true), but because it connects you to the city in a way other tours and guidebooks simply can’t.

In summary: If you’re in Budapest, do the Dinner and Cruise. It’s a cultural deep dive, a feast for the senses, and one of the smartest investments of your travel time and money.

And the best part?

All of this is just 90 EUR/person or 36.000 HUF/person!
